Comparing factory manifold to the new headers

 

Test fitting the headers & marking spots that are hitting

 

Hammering out the spots that were hitting

 

Header outlet too far up (won’t clear trans. cross member) and hugs trans. too close

 

Heating up the headers with a torch & move them away & down from trans.

 

Spaced away from trans & outlet is below trans. cross-member now

 

Header / Head gaskets

 

Header bolt – used anti-seize

 

Headers installed w/ new heads

Headers removed and ceramic coated

Used ultra black silicone to help seal the headers
